I joined Send Help as a volunteer driver and duty officer in 2012 following my retirement. It has been a rewarding experience helping clients to maintain their independence.

Choosing when I volunteer has enabled me to balance care of elderly parents, grandchildren, hobbies and holidays.

  • We’ve all got a spare hour or two in the week to help out. There’s a real need, I can help and it doesn’t take much of my time
