The Kind Hearts Behind Send Help
Every community has unsung heroes. For Send Help, these are the generous supporters who ensure aid reaches those in need.
Send Help assists anyone in Send, Send Marsh, and Burnt Common by offering transport to medical and hairdresser appointments, help with shopping, form-filling, odd jobs, and visiting the housebound. Their motto: if in doubt, ask.
Dedicated donors, volunteers, and local businesses keep the charity thriving. Mary, a retired teacher, organizes donations, while Jake, a small business owner, donates profits to support relief efforts. Local students raise funds and awareness.
Anyone needing help can call 01483 225255 between 10am and 12 noon on weekdays. The Duty Officer will arrange a volunteer and call back after 12 noon.
Beyond financial aid, supporters offer hope, proving that kindness still exists and that a united community can uplift its most vulnerable members.
Send Help would not continue without Surrey County Council’s support. Their funding and resources ensure those in need receive assistance, allowing the charity to make a lasting impact.
Through every ride given, errand run, and hand extended, these supporters prove that change starts with kindness. No act of generosity is too small—we can all help build a more compassionate world.
